Simple and easy recipe to prepare quickly. My mom often prepares this whenever she feels tired. I like this bhajji with poori. You can try this when guest suddenly visits us.
- 4-5 ripen tomatoes
- 2 medium sized onions
- 2 green chillies – split at the ends
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1-2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- Cut the tomatoes in small pieces. Heat oil in a kadhai and temper mustard seeds. Once it crackles, add chopped onions and green chillies. Saute a while and add chopped tomatoes.
- Mash the tomatoes and once it looks juicy add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Add salt to taste. Add water if needed. Cook for 5-10 mins. Serve hot with any main dish.
