- 3 cup puttu flour
- 2 cup shredded coconut
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ghee
- Combine flour, salt and ghee in a deep bowl. Add water little by little to it. Make sure it should not change to dough. It should be in powdered form slightly wet.
- Take the puttu maker and fill it with shredded coconut and puttu powder. The cylinder shape should be fully filled. The bottom vessel should be filled with water upto the mark.
- Steam it for 10 mins and remove from the heat. Serve with anything of your choice. Those who dont have puttu maker can use idli tray for baking this powder.
