Puttu arisi is commonly found in suburban trains of Chennai. I thought to give it a try. You can have it as breakfast.
- 2 cup red rice – soaked in water for 20 mins
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sugar

- Cook the rice in a vessel for 15 mins. It should not be fully cooked. Drain the water and allow it to cool. Mix shredded coconut and sugar to rice. Serve it hot.
