I was looking at the old recipe books collection of my mom and found this powder preparation method. My mom is fond of eggplants so i thought lets prepare vangibath powder and give her a surprise. Vangibath powder mixed with brinjal and ghee gives an awesome taste.
- 8 dry red chilies
- 4 tbsp coriander seeds
- 4 tbsp channa dhal (kadala paruppu)
- 4 tbsp urad dhal (ultham paruppu)
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- asofoetida – pinch
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 tsp mustard seeds
- Dry roast all the ingredients till nice aroma comes. Remove from the fire and allow it to cool. Grind it in a mixer to smooth powder. Fill it in an airtight container.
