- 2 tbsp grated coconut
- 1 onion
- 3 dry red chilies
- 1 tbsp pottu kadalai (roasted gram)
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dal (ultham paruppu)
Grind coconut, red chilies and pottu kadalai in a mixer. Add chopped onions and grind it again to smooth paste adding little water.
Heat oil in a wok and temper mustard seeds. Add urad dal and saute a while. Add it to the chutney. Serve with dosa.
