- 3-4 colocaesia
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp chili powder (sambar powder)
- salt to taste
- asofoetida – a pinch
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Pressure cook the colocaesia for only 1 whistle. Remove the skin, cut into 2 and keep aside. Heat oil in a kadhai and temper mustard seeds. Add diced colocaesia and fry till it tuns golden brown.
- Add turmeric powder, sambar powder, asofoetida and salt to taste. Fry for 5 mins. Serve as an accomplishment or as a snack.
