- 3-4 tbsp ellu podi (sesame seeds powder)
- Cooked rice or left over rice ( i used 2 cup rice and cooked it)
- 1 tbsp roasted peanuts
- 1 curry leaves stick
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1 tsp channa dal
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Heat 1-2 tbsp oil in a kadhai. Tamper mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add urad dal, channa dal and roasted peanuts.
- Saute a while. Add ellu podi and saute a while. Mix cooked rice with the paste. Remove from the heat and mix all. Serve with any poriyal.
