Masala Kozhi Varuval (Masala Chicken Fry) |
Ingredients :
- 250 gms chicken – B/L
- 1 onion
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp paav bhajji masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 curry leaves stick
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 2 green cardamom
Method :
- Heat oil in a kadhai and temper mustard seeds. Add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
- Saute a while. Add curry leaves and chopped onions. Fry for 2 mins. Add ginger-garlic paste.
- Saute a while. Add chicken, turmeric powder, red chili powder, paav bhaji masala, coriander powder and salt to taste.
- Add curd and cook it covered till it becomes dry and oil separates. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
