Coconut Banana Porridge, a healthy and nutritious oatmeal porridge recipe, easy to prepare and also very filling. To make it vegan, replace milk with coconut milk and ghee with oil. This porridge can be had for breakfast or dinner with toasted bread. Honey can also be replaced with dates syrup for unique taste. Chia seeds or roasted almonds can also be added along with the other main ingredients. To make this porridge even more nutritious, try adding other fruits like apple, pear, orange, mango etc.. This is a wholesome breakfast porridge which can be enjoyed by any age group person.

- ¼ cup thin sliced coconut
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 medium sized banana –sliced
- ¼ cup sliced strawberry
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 and ½ cup milk
- Heat milk in a pan. Once it starts boiling, add oats and cook on low-medium flame for 5-8 mins or till it thickens a bit. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- Roast sliced coconut with 1 tbsp ghee in a pan till it turns golden brown. Remove from the heat. Transfer Oats porridge to a serving bowl and top it up with toasted coconut, sliced banana, pomegranate seeds and sliced strawberry. Drizzle honey and serve.
