  • ½ cup Soya beans – soaked overnight
  • ½ cup urad dal / ultham paruppu / black gram – soaked 1 hour
  • 1 medium sized onion – finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 green chilies – finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • For Soaking :
  • 2 cup curd / yogurt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp chili powder or pepper powder
  • ½ tsp cumin / jeera powder (or) sandwich masala powder
  • 2 green chilies – finely chopped
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • ½ cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
